Terms of Service

The arrangement, in plain language.

The agreement

These terms govern your use of Sortiq. By creating an account you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

The service

Sortiq connects to Microsoft 365 mailboxes you authorise and classifies, prioritises, drafts replies to and screens the mail in them. Features are described on this site and may change as the product develops; we will not remove a material feature without telling account holders.

Subscription and billing

The Premium Plan costs $10 AUD/month. Billing begins when you create your account. There is no free trial.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund part-months.

If a payment fails we may suspend access until it is resolved.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for the accuracy of the mailbox access you grant, and for ensuring you have the authority to connect the mailboxes you connect.

You must not use Sortiq to break the law, to process mail you have no right to access, or to attempt to disrupt the service for others.

Automated output

Sortiq classifies mail and drafts replies automatically. These are suggestions produced by machine learning models and can be wrong. You remain responsible for what you send, and for decisions you take based on how a message was classified or scored.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not warrant uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and incidents happen; where we can give notice, we will.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of your use of Sortiq is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending the agreement

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, and will tell you why.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
